Yento Lax jeevitam! Team lo first guinea pig manode! The only series in the past 2 years where he did not have an impact was the England series... But that applies to everyone. Given his contribution to our wins especially against Aussies, he should be given a free rein for this entire series as a token of respect! Without him, India would have lost No.1 ranking 2 years ago. For people arguing about giving young guns a chance, pls remember this is the last overseas tour for atleast the next 18 months! What good shall it do the youngsters if they get a couple of games here & won't be tested on foreign pitches for the next couple of years? They shall be back to scoring tons in IPL & some meaningless onedays in a couple of months. The least we can do for our batting great trio is to give them a graceful exit plan once this Aus series concludes. They deserve that atleast! | ||

No need to drop Lax in Australia. Let him complete this series and we can do it more professionally by making Laxman and/or Dravid announce retirement after team goes back to India. Let's not forget, India does not play any test matches for almost 9 months after this test series. Let Pujara, Kohli and Rohit play with little master for another year or so and then Sachin can retire. Selectors should come up with a retirement plan for all 3 seniors. Even then I will go with Rohit or anyone else. VVS and Rahul were in late 20's when they were involved in epic Kolkata test.. When will virat and rohit get a chance to be in team for longer periods, adapt, sharpen technique, tour overseas, and deliver.. I support dropping VVS and Dravid, even if they perform. No future with them.. Bring in new people. We will lose matches for 1-2 years but then will bounce some day. Pujara gaadini include seyyali.
