Police will write up a fault report -you can call and enquire by case number. They would have taken both the insurance details. Call your insurance company and let them know you had the accident. They will deal with the other insurance company .

Thanks for the concern ...luckily ...kids were not in the car..also the accident happened at a traffic signal..when she was just about to start..the guy from the other lane rammed into our vehicle as he started..
