Woodpecker:

system recovery(pressing F11)is not working but all data was backed-up

if system recovery is not working , possible your harddisk is gone,
as you don't need the data ,, it is possible you can burn an ubuntu on cd and boot,

You need to buy another harddisk and install ubuntu for free, or try to get Windows 7 software on a CD

I am not a geek,

"no bootable device--insert boot disk and press any key" error in hp laptop

hard disk test passed, restored all set up defaults in BIOS

still unable to load windows 7 and been facing same error

system recovery(pressing F11)is not working but all data was backed-up

any geeks know how to solve the error?

laptops after 2006 are crap they don't have recovery cd's unlike old ones
