no. they say 'big' govt is the enemy. Paul sticks to the fundamentals of this country's founding fathers. US grew in the 1800s not because of their big brother role which Britain was happy playing but because of their isolationist role. they have now moved far and wide from that ideal and have become the center of everything in the world. one can exert power without having to physically be there every where. that is Paul's stance. and this whole big govt thing is what hamilton etc did not want. FDR initiated this in response to the great depression but that just snowballed into something crazy. and that's where Paul comes in. | ||

what he has done is that he has taken money out of the insurance companies' pockets and put them back in the companies' pockets. companies are now driven towards CDHP which actually ends up saving everyone money and makes people more conscious of their health. these are all network externalities that many did not see coming. health care system in this country was going down the spiral and he has put a check on it. it will play out in the next 3-4 yrs. wait n watch. | ||
