Entikaburlu:Some of them are quite good and might become multi-baggers.
that's why I bought XGD (an etf) along with ABX. I bought POT 5 years ago, it is the second biggest holding in my portfolio. I also own AGU and MON in that area. |

Pipeline:I live in Canada so my overall picks are more skewed towards energy and resource stocks
that explains your partiality towards RIMM?? I like POT, but never owned it. I have ABX. Canada has a lot of Gold Miners, in fact too many. Some of them are quite good and might become multi-baggers. Hard to pick anyting in particular because there are just too many. RGLD, GDX and SNDFX are indirect plays on them. |

Entikaburlu: in US people rescued the Banks, in EU Banks rescued people. we have to see which one is right in the long term.
I think both are incorrect. US used to be best savings country until mid 80s. then banks and govt policies encouraged cheap money and people started living beyond their means; US became most indebted nation in the process. now you can see same unfortunate behavior slowly creeping in to asian giants like China and India. |

if keystone project gets presidential approval I may look in to TRP too. I own little bit, bought few years ago along with ENB (best pick so far, doubled in last 3 years and decent dividend too) |

Entikaburlu:if I am liquid beyond 20%, I will look at these (in no particular order):
thanks. I currently own some of the following and would like to add on weakness: POT ABX SU CNQ ENB/EEP TCK(only if there is a severe correction) GOOG BNS RIMM (?) thinking for really short term I live in Canada so my overall picks are more skewed towards energy and resource stocks Now a days could not spend much time on the ideas. I have to get rid of some dogs in my portfolio, like CSCO. I am really disappointed with that stock for the last 5 years.. |

Entikaburlu:cut it to 20%, imo (remember, do not take advice :-)). there are many never again good buys right now.
I always make an investing decision after complete due diligence, had enough bad experiences by listening to others. doesn't mean I am always correct but at least I don't need to blame others that way. in the last two years, I am buying only those with proven track record of increasing dividends over a long period. anyway, what are the companies that you think are a good buy now? What do you think of RIMM at this stage for a short term trade? |

cut it to 20%, imo (remember, do not take advice :-)). there are many never again good buys right now. all is not well, that's why gold is going up, that's how i see it.. but wait, this rally has to sustain above 12000 for a pl of weeks. |

toughest advice i can give is do not fall for bad advice. you have to believe in your plan and stick to it. have faith in USA, it's clearly the strongest, most flexible, most creative, and freest economy and society. keep some cash ready. invest in companies with strong leadership. when the sea is rough, the captain is important. |

in general markets don't like uncertainty. now some think EU found a solution to the problems hence the rally. I would say that the real issue is not solved, all these are band-aid solutions and the uncertainty is still there. sell in to the strength if you can.. |
