Western insterests are quite evident.... only 4 years back When tony blair was prime minister, he was shaking hands with gaddafi for his help on war on tellal..... then they said, libya has come a long way.... Nato ari strikes and heavy arms funding to rebels lekapothey......Libya alagey undedhi..... UK turned its back because of Lockerbie bombing....fiasco.....gaddafi middle finger choopinchaadu when UK gave back the guy who is serving term here based on medical grounds......that didnt go well with UK and they started a campaign to show his atrocities etc etc.....US was fist not interested but they have to talk for their friends in europe..... now the country will go to dogs.... not that gaddafi kind of guys are always correct.....oka stage vacchaka....they feel they are gods....providing everything for their people.....and if he runs the country for 30 odd years.....surely there will be opposition......and when it gets fuelled by outside forces.....then there's no way out.... WMD for one....and atrocities for others.....sure time will come when western countries will fuel rebels in each others countries..... Gaddafi was dreaming of non reliance on west for everything.....that is his crime.....in my view..... after the two world wars in the last century.....it is the 'suited' men who are causing destruction than dictators in uniform...... Iran and its leader are more of a problem than this guy....but they dont dare to touch him until.....rebels their grow strong...Im sure all efforts are being made to fuel them too....... west has lost it......as more and more developing countries catch up on arsenal of war......west will start to have its worst days.......i think they have made their own recipe for that......self destructing .Economic....war fare.... I have follewed middle east conflict for years.....Butros ghali poyaka UN chesindhi....soonyam......its a fit-for-nothing organisation.....and time pass club.....any one can walk in....get a stamp of what they want to do....and go out and do it......Kofi annan time nundi....it has become a US gentleman's golf club ...... first hand info, in early 80'smy parents lived in libya for very short time my mum was working for UN on human rights commission libya had 4-6 lane roads even in rural villages hospital treatment was free for everybody with meals better than US private hospitals emergency road service existed even those days all libyans have access to the foreign education your housing dependend on no of children not the amount of money you make wall to wall carpets in all rooms teenagers to bump cars in the desert for fun new models of benz and beamers were launced in tripoli Indians have 2 much respect there amitabh and rekha were superstars for them | ||
