Yes it can be done.. create a package which executes the other packages in it. but care should be taken regarding the connections of other packages.. I saw one package executing other 3 packages as a part of it. |

Annai nenu expert ni kaadu kani.. Windows servuce kavali lekapothe sql database lo sql server agent lo jobs kinda configure cheyali.. I did using window service as configuring under sql server agent needs admin rights.. |

Anni SSIS packages ni oka stored proc nundi execute chesettu stored proc raasi and you can schedule that one stored proc. Dtexec command will be helpful in executing SSIS package from stored proc ..here is some help on how to use that : http://www.codeproject.com/KB/database/Call_SSIS_from_SP.asp x SSIS work chesi channallu ayindi ..so not 100% sure on detail level |

Instead of having all the dtsx packages under scheduler, can we have a Wrapper Job (generic ssis batch) which will be scheduled as 1 job and internally it will be calling and executing other batches. Frequency , other db values will be driven through database table values only. Is it possible for the above scenario to be accomplished?? Hope we dont require any window-service etc to keep the wrapper job supported . we dont get permissions for SERvices etc to be run to invoke the batch. The Wrapper Job will be under Scheduler.
