Scallion, I do not follow the Indian market, so please take my comments with that perspective. I wouldn't sell a strong mineral stock at a loss when it fell with the market. but check its Beta (volatility index), which tells how fast it will come back with the index. all indices are going through turbulence, which works great for the platform/algo traders, but sorry for long-term investors. so we have to wait and watch for the long term trends, to stay in the stocks or move to cash or non-liquid assets. re NFLX: they did have a weak Q3. they came below their own guidance. they also have to worry about Apple TV rumors. they made a few mistakes, such as share buy back and signing an expensive deal with HBO. Can they weather this storm and grow into the remaining quarters is to be seen. but this is what makes you a great investor, if you can make the right call now. I knew this was coming down when it was around 280, but did not dare act. | ||

Mav,, Thanks for your advice... btw where do you trade?/ TD ameri?? I trade through wells fargo. since I have PMI account I get 200 free trades per year for my brokerage acct and ROTH IRA acct if maintain 25 K+ balance in all accounts combined.. Only disadvantage is they dont have after hrs trading which sucks.. Please suggest good trading website if you know any.. Thanks | ||

NFLX daarunam assalu, from close to 300...now it is at 74+ in pre-market, in a span of six months I guess. NFLX outlook disappointed anukunta...not sure if it goes to bankruptcy. I highly doubt that, it still has good number of subscribers as there is no good alternative to it. This is a great time for competitors to grab customers from NFLX if they can, but I doubt if they are ready to do that. | ||
