another thing is use free s/w like Mp3Tag to edit id tags. If you use iTunes it only changes id tags in the itunes playlist and not for actual mp3 file. so tomorrw if you move these files to some other mp3 player you don't get those tags. I keep Artist as "Telugu" Genres as Composer as my/most cars doesn't show Composer as option. | ||

Also the reason I rename Artist is, when u d/l telugu/hindi songs..artist names daggara okko song ki okko pichi peru untundi..some times they have singer names, some times junk names linke shareboy,eezemp3 etc. So I just clean them up for clean look, Which may not be a good idea if u want to know who the singer is. | ||

Genre option is there too. Try Playlist option. Its even more convenient if you workout. In this db, there's always someone watching you!!  | ||

When u open "Music" in iphone/ipod..U see the Tabs of artists,albums,songs etc..so its easy to select an album/song if it's under Artists>Album. Its all about convineince..I dont want to spend 5 minutes to look for auto apparao song in dookudu...I simply open music>Artist tab is on main page>Album Dookudu. | ||

This is what i do: For all telugu songs I rename "Artist" as Telugu. For ex u d/l Dookudu and Oosarvelli...rename artist as "Telugu" for both AND album names as their movie names. Then after syncing, in iphone when u click Artist, It will show these 2 albums. This method works well for me for downloaded telugu/hindi songs in itunes. For Hindi songs I names Artist as Hindi. So there are only 2 artists:Telugu and Hindi And multiple albums under them. | ||

Select all the album songs in iTunes. Rigth-click and select 'Get Info' Enter Album name (If already there, clear and enter again) Now, the Songs should be grouped in iTunes, Sync iPhone to push the changes | ||

Elaa vastundhi? I downloaded an album from TT and copied the album to iphone but the songs list does not shows up as a single album but multiple albums... why is this happening? I made sure the album name is same on all songs ..still the problem persists... any idea? |
