raman tamud The Tollywood heroes of the big league are known for two things prominently- their inflated ego and huge image protection. Now, it appears that they are adding another quality and that is jealousy. Buzz is that the Telugu stars are going green with envy over other region stars like Salman Khan, Ajith, Suriya etc. The reason for that is their remuneration. Right now, Salman is getting a whopping Rs 30 crores as remuneration while Kollywood star Ajith is getting Rs 15 crores. Even Suriya is getting Rs 18crores. And that is the cause of pain for our heroes. However, the market analysts say “The remunerations of these stars are huge because of their big market presence and strong opening capacity. At one point, even Tollywood was on par with Bollywood but not anymore. The remunerations are not increasing here and no star has crossed Rs 10 crores. How can they? There is no consistency in their films, they come with one film in 2 years and most importantly, they don’t even score a decent hit. So, we can’t help if they cry with jealousy.” | ||
