Ja chudail, if only you were an Indian or a friendly South-Indian you would rather appreciate the differences and make fun of it not pour racism all over the blogosphere and divide India in to North and South. I am a North-Indian who worked in Bangalore for five years and Hyderabad for one year. I love the food as much as I love North-Indian food. My husband is North-Indian and I am much more respected compared to a Tamilian lady who is married to a Tamilian I know! If Tamilians prefer gold over clothes or a deodorant thatâs their priority, and so is Delhitesâ if they love the car more than the girlfriendâs cat. If a Delhite girl talks about Fendi, thatâs because she can carry one well and appreciates high-fashion! If only she had got what she wanted from Delhi boys she would have written an open letter stating how macho Delhi boys are and how expensive Bags she gets as gifts! I know not every girl in Delhi owns a Fendi nor does a boy owns an SUV but thatâs how the Chudail sees. By the way whatâs with the extra H that you all add in our names? Everything has a reason and well the reason is cultural difference here. However, changing my nameâs spelling from Chintan to Chin-Than and giving me two extra breasts is so not done Darling. As far as long black mane is concerned, Indians have good hair anyway be it Bengali or Punjabi or any Indian for that matter. For some of my South-Indian friends Mumbai is North-India! They do not care to learn the National Official Language, they do not even wish to step in North-India, and they find us arrogant and show off. There are hundred things we could blog about, be nasty about but pointing fingers and calling each other names, insulting legendary singers without even understanding the depth of their music is utter nonsense. I wouldnât have bothered to blog if she had written two hundred pages about North-Indians or Delhi-BOYS but I do have a problem if she drags music in to it. I am not a fan of Carnatic music but still I respect it as its music. Music is what is supposed to bring us all together. I love Pakistani Sufi music and wouldnât stop listening even if they declared a war. However, the chudail has a long way to go when it comes to music and delhi boys too. Right now she is angry, loathed and full of hatred and well blissfully has spread the feelings to others too. If only Anna was from Delhi and I could tell her, well hereâs one man you may like to marry? Alas, he is Maharashtrian, but hey, thatâs what they term as North-Indian too! So I may speak to Chudailâs parents and get her engaged to Anna for she needs to see the other side of India from his glasses.
