here are my impressions- Gold has crossed a critical barrier and I think next stop will be 2000, and probably 2500. Stocks may have seen the bottom - or may be one more vuthiking session will be there. Market is searching for capitulation. There are some great buys out there. Go out and start buying. Remember this: MONEY IS MADE ONLY IN THE DOWN MARKET. Go out and buy now. Almost any blue chip can be bought at this level blindly. Some really very very good deals are there. Coming to Gold: I found two new ways to invest in Gold: One is RGLD. It is a Royalty based Gold company. This is a great way to invest in Gold miners but not really locked into any particular mining co. Pick some RGLD. It is a good deal even at the current prices. The second way is IAU. This is similar to GLD, but 1/100 oz, instead of 1/10 oz. The advantage here is, if you want to play call options, your contract price will be low. Unlike stocks, in options, you cannot split a contract, so a smaller face-value stock is useful in this regard. Finally, if you want to hedge your gold, buy GLL calls. If gold falls, gll goes up, so you will be protected at least for a portion. but since it is an option, if the gold keeps going up, you will lose it completely. One other thing- Silver: Historically Silver trades at 16:1 to gold, now its 45:1, so they are expecting it to double over the next 3 months. so, pick some. Good luck for tomorrow.
