Deep Vein Thrombosis, however, is not restricted to air travel. It can happen anytime you are sitting stationary for an excessive period of time.

It leads to clots and cramps...any unusually long periods of inactivity -- whether you're in a plane, train, automobile, or even your office chair -- can impede blood circulation. In turn, the pooled blood can cause a thrombus (clot)"

Lost 14 lbs with no workout, no 'major' diet changes.

quit drinking in Feb 2011. Completely sober for about 2 months. Then had a beer (just one) on a couple of social occasions after that.

Probably the biggest change is with dinner time. Earlier I used to eat at 10:30 or 11 pm and go to bed at 1 am. Now I finish my dinner between 7:30 and 8:30 pm and go to bed at 12:30 am.

Most of the times, evening intiki vellina ventaney junk food thintaanu around 6 pm. Usually consists of one sweet plus some savory item (chips/bajjili/bondalu/samosalu/puffs/murukulu/chekkalu/boon di/mixture etc.)

At least one Ale-8-One (my favorite soft drink, checkout ale8one.com), sometimes two in the evenings.
