Confuse ayinattu unnaavu. For your stay in US, I-94 is the only one that you need to care about. For example, return from india trip in 2009 (I-94 date until visa expiry or passport expiry whichever one is earlier), visa expired in 2010 (so, new I-94 with I-797 until 2013), passport expired in 2011 (no big deal, aaraam sey apply chesukovachu, unless there are urgent travel plans). An idea is like a Virus. | ||

Notary charges $10 for signature. If you are doing it in mail, then you DO NOT need to notarize the photocopy of the passport when you mail in the original passport. Same thing with support docs too.. I sent in a friends passport for renewal today, all I had to notarize was the photo in the 4th page. I sent it to San Fran.. Habe no clues of Houston.. Yes you can do that , or just show it to Notary. I think this shouls not be aproblem. All VISAs will be intact even though passport is expired. They will send back the old one | ||
