does not have to be that way...they did not bowl the way they were supposed to...gave too many extras...again...we batted well...after dhoni's dismissal match was even...but yuvi and rains game was exceptional...at crucial time lee and tait gave 27 in 2 overs... 260 was good enough...otherwise we should not have seen the pressure while we were chasing... | ||

Ponting is a better captain than Sach but as a player Sachin is much better. Now please don't bring winning statistics, cricket is not all about getting runs, you need bowlers to set the games..Ponting had the privelage of having Mcgrath and Warne (considered to be the best of their times) in his team for the most part. Also I would rate Ponting lower than Sachin coz he never had to face Warne and Mcgrath and never had the burden of carrying hopes of billion ppl for almost 20yrs. That said, he played brilliantly today after loosing Watson and Haddin knowing that their middle order is not in good form. | ||
