Naach is very good drama...asalu movie mood karab chesaaadu aa songs valla. When you are making a musical you should have strong Music like in rangeela or taal. Varma's Movies can be broadly classfied into 4 types 1. Shiva Type: Antham, Gayam..Satya..Company, Sarkar etc. This is his strongest area. The best of RGV comes in this genre..Chances of a good product are around 80-20 (Few scenes)Inspired from: Godfather,Good Fellows, Scarface 2.KshanaKshanam Type: Govinda-Govinda, AnaganaOkaRoju, Daud, Road etc etc. Basic ga Road stories,..Hero-herione running from the villians into the forests or some unknown areas. He uses the situations very well to generate comedy. His second best Genre, Chances of success 60-40 3.Rangeela Type: Mast, Naach, Main madhuri banna chahthein hoon (produced) Love story in film industry background, Chances of success depends on the mood of the movie, while i liked Naach, it is little too serious to become hit. Inspired from: Siri siri Muvva, SivaRanjani 4.Rathri Type: Deyyam, Bhooth, Darna mana etc etc According to me, His weakest link, He probably enjoys watching these kinda movies, but is not successful in making a good horror movie yet. Agree with you on every aspect of Antham movie..., appatiki aa pata vokati vundedi aa cinemalo Gundello Dhada Dhada aa patani oka roju rahtri 12 tarvatha full sound lo car lo petti tirigam memu, khatharnak effort vundedi... i like the songs in that movie, kani patalu pettali kabatti pettinatlu vuntayi, athakaledu antha sarigga... BGM antava, adi ee madhya RGV movies lo routine aipoyindi, Amole ani evado kodutunnadu, vadi amma anni gisa pita repeat chesi dobbutunnadu, D, Sarkar, Shiva annitiki okey rakam ga vundi, deentlo baga interest teesukovali Sandeep Chowtha should be brought back... Antham gurinchi emi seppali bai...It came atleast 7-8 years ahead of its time. Janalaki ardham kaledhu or digest kaaledhu aa concept. Hero ante ramudu laa manchi baaludu ...anna concept appatlo...ikkada hero is a character good/bad anedhi vundadhu...he is a criminal anthe and it is his profession. First club fight ayyaka nenu total flat. theater antha pin drop silence...emi scene saami...total money worth aa scene. Next flash back danny ee kurrodini chera deese scene. forest lo horsebabu fight If i have to make any changes to this movie i would change the songs and BGM. hope this one becomes a huge hit, i really liked the first part... kani naku ippatiki bhayam vesey scenes anni Rathri loney vunnayi, nenu yee movie second show ki vellanu Devi lo, i still get restless if I remember the scene where he shows a woman sitting in the basemet wearing a red saree, she looks normal with out any makeup (normal horror films makeup), but the way she sits and the way characters react after seeing her, awesome scene... hope he repeat his magic again, I love his movies irrespective of Box-office status | ||

I think Horror genre is RGV's weakness. He likes to make horror movies,but he cant make good products. Bhayam, Bhayam ani vadu bhyapadi povatm thappithee..janam bhayapadaru. Rathri, His first horror movie is by far his best Horror film. Bhooth is sub-standard..reminded me of ramsay brothers movies..haunted house..raped female..regular format. Kaun doesnt come in Horror genre..It is a thriller and is very well made film. 3 characters tho oke room lo 1 and 1/2 hour movie. Excellent. Commercially it is not succesful and didnt lose anything as it was made on lowest possible budget. | ||

He doesnt spend on unnessessary things....no songs,no sets,No gimmicks like graphics. He believes in Screenplay and Shot making which can have more impact than the scenes with Ramping shots. Blood choopinchakunda terror puttincha vachu scene lo...best example Shiva lo night movie choosi vasthunna shiva friend ni banda kesi kotte scene...bandakesi kottinattu soopinchadu..rakhtam soopinchadu....kani scene lo chilling feeling vasthadhi...adhi shot making ante. The budget for Satya was 5 crores Bhooth 5 crores Company 8-10 crores. Sarkar 10 crores Satya and Bhooth was in profits after the first weekend. Budget important kadhu...You will not see any difference in the quality of these movies with high budgeted movies who spend 20-25 crores. | ||
