what happens if the candidate continues to work for the end-client. let us say the project is business critical and the chain is like this end-client->vendor->vendor->employer->employee chain and the candidate works during EAD expiry and Pending EAD File (a) $ is billed and ends at end-client->vendor->vendor->employer (employee gets no pay and no adjustments) (b) $ is not at all billed end-client retains it (kind of volunteer work). (c) $ is billed to end-client later after the EAD approval and propagated through the chain (d) $ is billed during the pending period and ends some where in the chain end-client->vendor->vendor first of all: is it good to work as a volunteer for the end-client and does the big orgs allow it? or we should work without informing any one with the case (a) | ||

My wife is in the same situation but her employer said that as long as it is approved it is fine even though she does not have it in hand. Her present EAD expires today and the new one was approved yesterday. So she submitted a print of USCIS confirmation that it is approved and the initial Receipt notice of her EAD | ||

A colleague of mine has her EAD Card expiring on Oct 30....she filed for EAD renewal in aug and today the status on USISC website states the card was ordered for production on 14th oct and will arrive within 30 days.... now the vendor called the client up and informed the client manager that she is not eligible to work from monday since her current EAD card is expiring on oct 30....client says they're okay if the vendor is okay.. any suggestions mamalu? |
