you can bring it back if you have spent it from NRE account its called repatriation, you can deposit the money back to your account in ICICI and ask them to convert into dollars and deposit them in your local bank we need kakarla to certify lot of Mental Kandidates | ||

NRE or NRO account lo nunchi already tesesi invest chesina mani idi. I want to bring it back legally, since it was sent legally. NRE/NRO accounts lo India lo money deposit cheyyalem, as far as I know. I think the only way to do is through RBI, by buying dollars from them. | ||

If you an account with ICICI then check the website to download the remittance form and send it to them with your usa bank a/c details... It will take few days but it will be completely legal. RBI allows upto $200,000 to be remitted abroad per person per year although I have not seen someone actually remitting that much. I am aslo not sure how liberal Liberalised Remittance Scheme actually is.
