Ee case ki specidic gaa edi better anedi no idea. But in general, Mexico is the best best. I went to Matamoros twice in last 4 years. No issues at all. Texas border lo MARS ani and some other agencies vuntaayi... they take 150 bucks or so per person. Total end to end service provide chesthaaru. From picking you up the airport to hotel drop and then to mexico and back. Worth the 150 bucks... If god doesn't like the way I live, let him tell me, not you | ||

Yes you have an option to extend I-94 without leaving country.But this should go same thing we need to apply to USCIS and they will extend based on i-94 I dont know attroneys say it is tricky and ofcourse expensive whenever dealing with attorney | ||

MAV check this link .. http://travel.state.gov/visa/laws/telegrams/telegrams_1441.h tml from google search from immigration.com forum old posts for example.. if you have valid I-94 then dont give it to Canada immigration when you enter Canadaby border (they dont need it) or to Airline when take flight from US to Canada, fligh to Canada is domestic flight. you CAN enter US with valid I-94 if you DONT apply Visa stamp in Canada or Mexico and your visit is less than 30 days and that is called "AUTOMATIC VISA REVALIDATION"( search the Department of state site and take the printout) . Hi, I just called at Rainbow Bridge Port of Entry (716) 282-3141, ext. 323 and confirmed that I can come back without any problem as long as I have following while I am coming back. 1. HD. if you get new I-797 after india trip in dec and it includes I-94 then no issue. but if you get i-797 before india trip, you have two options. immediately leave the country and get stamped. or ask you attorney to extend your i-94 based on i-797 but this is tricky and expensive. thumb rule: generally you should not stay more than i-94 mentioned date. you can get mexico stamping dates within one week. leave the country today or t'row and stay in mexico .get stamping next week and come back.. If i was you i will take this chance. | ||

Sir, I believe Humdum is not talking about Visa as it is only a travel document. I94 is the one which determines your stay in US and that too the latest one. If I am wrong pls ignore me. | ||

you can work till july 2011 without any tension i will tell you my scenario then you can relate I was small desi company from(h1from 96-99) 97 to accenture ki jump kotta, i was with Accenture( h1 was from 97-2000) back to first company in 98 ending my stamping on the passport wss from 96-99 even after 99 i stayed in USA for another year before i got new stamping we need kakarla to certify lot of Mental Kandidates | ||

HD..Primaraliy which I -797 was presented at POE?Looks like Immigation Officer issued new I 94 based on old I 797 for company A as I 94 is not issued based on Visa. AFAIF. Any way, hee needs to get out of US immediately because I94 prevails over eveything and every day stay over I 94 is accural of overstay. You can try getting nrew I 94 at your nearest POE by talking to the IO's and if it does not work out then you need to exit US immediately. PS--Not a legal advice | ||

Naku POE loo immigration officer yee cheppadu. naa case naa passport expire date mid of jun 2011 and naaa i797 expire date mid of july 2011 naku i-94 mid of jun 2011 daka ichhi nee passport renewal taruvtha i-94 edoo place ki velli extend chesukoo ani cheppadu. Nenu adi marchipoyaaa. enduku antee naa workpemit expire date and passport expire date hardly one month kudaa ledu. ikkada meeroka vishayam clarify cheyyali... thana latest I-797(July 2011 expiry) eppudu vachindhi? recent ga India nunchi vachina tharvathaa? or India vellaka mundhaa? what so ever...I faced the same kind of situation... I went to India and while coming back I showed old I-797 which was about to expire and he stamped that date on I-94 and obviously my I-94 got expired but my latest i-797 is valid..I went to IAD airport and explained that I mistakenly given the old I797..he said he could not help...then I tried BWI airport in baltimore...They gave me a new I-94 with the revised date...so if your case is the same, go to the nearest CBF office and try ur luck | ||

Candidate A is currently employed at X on H1B. His I-797 is approved till July 14 2011. (i 94 was till July 2011) On his passport, he has stamping from 797 of previous employer Y, which would expire on Sep 30 2010 (today) He went to India in last December and at POE, he was given a new i94 corresponding to the visa date - till Sep 30 2010. ippudu A paristhiti enti...lawyer emo visa stamp kottinchu kovaali, kotha i94 kavaali antay antunaadu...for that he has to depart USA next year extension kee file chesinaa(from july 2011 he has 2 more years out of his 6 yrs) , ee loga h1 teansfer chesukunna kotha i94 vasthaadi kadha...US lo calm gaa kurchuntay , can he use this option? |
