Guri, Going by your logic (Gouru was framed by TDP/bireddi), every criminal tells the same thing that he is framed. Nee logic correct eithe, then why do fault CBN's actions of closing so many police files on his party men (We can think that all of these were framed cases). I am not supporting CBN's actions here. No matter who does these kind of things, we should condemn them. Regarding YSR not helping Suri, I beleive he would have, if the case was not created that much sensation and Suri was caught redhandadly. And if I am right, I think he was got asylum in YSR's village or house (don't exactly, but somehow it was related to YSR) before he got arrested in that bombing plot. Finally I am not saying I don't have belief in CBI or Police or Courts, I am questioning the fact that no one got indicted or punished, even after commissioning so many CBI investigations. No end result, that is what I am questioning. Look at the language YSR uses in assembly. He should behave like a parliamentarian, not like common man talking anything he feels like. I want to reiterate that I like the progress he made in the state in spite of all the negative things I don't like about him. | ||

How ridicuolus it is for a democratically elected CM signing the first file releasing a convicted criminal from jail. Is he a freedom fighter to get that kind of consideration? How many opposition activists were killed in the 1st 2 years of YSR ruling and how many were put behind bars for thse murders? That clearly shows indirect government support to these activities. I understand these are political murders that were committed in retaliation of the past murders, but as a responsible government, it is its duty to arrest these kind of revenge murders and punish the culprits after the fact if it cann't arrest the retaliation murders. These things happend during CBN ruling also, but he never publicly supported these criminal elements openly. He tried to keep them away from power. Classic example is Paritala. He tried to cut his power when ever he can. I never saw YSR kind of person who openly supports convicted criminals and corrupt politicinas. Don't tell me that YSR always takes care of his people. Taking care of his people is OK if they are not criminals. | ||

Guri, Regarding ordering CBI enquiries into any scams/murder investigations etc., what good it is, when you can manipulate the investigations politically. If you have confidence of manipulating or influencing the outcome, then you can order investigations into every thing. How many of these investigations zeroed on to any one or resulted in prosecutions? Then what is the use of constituting them. I beleive CBN never intended to manipulate these committes, hence he didn't order inquiries as often as YSR is doing. But, bottom line is who is found guilty through these efforts and who got punished? | ||

Pavala, My inclination towards CBN is based on the following comparison between CBN & YSR. Corruption: Both are equally bad - YSR has upper hand. Law and Order: CBN is much better. YSR has personal involvement in few cases. (Eg. Releasing Gouru is one example) Progress: There was lot of progress under CBN. But to be FRANK, YSR doing a LOT MORE THAN what CBN did. I never expected this from a congress govt. And I beleive CBN will continue whatever YSR is doing (just like YSR continued CBN policies + Jala Yagnam). Based on the above analysis, I still support CBN over YSR. But I do appreciate what YSR is doing for the state. | ||

First Impression is not at all IMPRESSIVE (talking about on-line edition only). I cann't appreciate any project that YSR's family doing as I am reminded about their corruption money seeding all these projects. The only consolation I feel about all their business ventures is that they are providing employment to some people and their by distributing their LOOT. Other than that I will always view Jagan as an industrialist that came up (in short time) throuh illegal channels, corruption and GOONDA giri. There is nothing to be proud of his success. I sincerely hope they loose all their money through un-successful businesses and I ALSO HOPE ALL OTHER POLITICIANS (including CBN) and their cronies will loose their money in a similar manner. I won't think SAKSHI can overtake EENADU. | ||
