Endukantha Diplomacy? Diplomacy em ledu babai. TN lo ayithe many doctors in Chennai also get Padma awards for medical services, even if they are not into research etc, so Arts lo Allu ki iste emundi? He deserves it. But vere deserving candidates chala mandi vunnaru, they didn't get it. Which means obviously someone really pushed hard for it ani anthe. | ||

Ikkada chaala mandiki Padma awards ela istaro kooda teliyadhu. No body can deny that Rao Gopal Rao & Satti Pandu are great actors.... but for these awards someone has to nominate from the government or some recognized institutes such as universities etc. Papam RGR & Satti Pandu ki evaru nominate cheyyaledhu anukunta. allu is a great character artist...oka appu chesi pappukudu....oka sankarabharanam..lanti brahmandamayina roles chesaru....he definately deserves it and he got it because he was lucky to vuch for him. Rao gopala rao garu and satyanarayana garu...are great gifted actors and totally deserve them....but sadly there is no one to vouch for them. | ||

.like Kaikala, Rao Gopal Roa, Relangi, Ramana Reddy etc. allu second comedian to receive Padmasri award. Relangi is first comedian in entire Indian film history, he received in 1954. | ||

My point is lot of big actors in TFI didn't get padmas except, NTR, ANR, Chiru and now Mohan Babu. I was just surprised they pick Allu ahead of people like Rao Gopal Rao, Satyanarayana and ton of other actors who are equally deserving. It just stuck to me when I said other thread about "Padma Sri Allu Rama Lingaiah presents". Relative to artist technicians in TFI got Padmasri anukunta. People like Thota Tharani. | ||

Genuine doubt no doubt Allu Ramalingaish was one of the prominet comedy actors of his time. But I am surprised only he has PadmaSri none of other actors of his generation got..like Kaikala, Rao Gopal Roa, Relangi, Ramana Reddy etc. Any ideas why? |
