yes .Otherwise take 12 ole DB Sources and Link them all to "Merge"(Basically its like union) task .if you feel its kinda of difficult for your scenario,then may here is the better answer for your 2nd question 2.Ippudu nenu 12 source tables ni okatey package lo include cheyyala leka each table ki oka package creat cheyyala -- okatey package lo 12 source tables teesukovachu.create 12 dataflowtasks for each table in a package.Then select the source , give the defaults as i said below and map the target. here is my id p_niranjankumar@yahoo.com.Mail me if u need more info | ||

Sorry Annai, Tokkolo meeting unte vella. 1. How to set those 5 default columns? In SSIS , there is a task called "Derived columns" .There you can create a column and give default value or calculated value (column1+ Column2 =Target Column) 2. Ippudu nenu 12 source tables ni okatey package lo include cheyyala leka each table ki oka package creat cheyyala? Better use SQL Query for this with the Union operator for 12 tables . Accroding to me whole scenario goes like this: Create dataflow task Doble click on it .In that select OLEDB Source and Choose sql query as the source and use union to join all teh 12 tables After that , take "Derived column" task and create the new columns with the default values. Then Select "OlE DB Destination" from the Dataflow destinations.Select your target table and link the columns accordingly. dont forget to linking these tasks while doing it.
