if that is the case then oil has to go much higher before it crashes.. I don't think we will see $40 barrel again. The next low point would be higher than last low point during the crash. Gold meeda ekkuva hopes pettukokandi. Limit your exposure to no more than 10% of the PF. Use it as a small insurance premium, even that I don't advise (or should say believe) to invest in gold producers. Just put it in actual gold or certificates backed by strong bank. US will save 100s of billions a year in energy imports..USD will strengthen further because of EU (I.e., Germany) slow down. China is also severely slowing down. When people are in doubt they will go to the strongest currency (perception). Conventional wisdom says when the recession hits gold may be the place to go but we have seen recently in 2008 that one crashed too. I think it's better to keep some cash and get out of marginal stocks..keep the good ones for long run.. |
