its actually much more complicated than that.. i think, desam lo chala issues - are for the reason we got habituated to taking things for granted - from small little things to huge problems, and we are busy with our lives.. this carelessness reflects with our politicians too.. but in the EU, sicne they are smaller countries - every little detail is examined in a microscope and analysed.. it makes a big political game.. every topic, countries discuss within their parties then discuss in close groups within EU then discuss in actual EU committees  ex: follow the thread on including Turkey in EU brahma satyam jagan-mithyä jivo brahmaiva näparah | ||

somehow I always keep thinking that EU is like India ani.. Diversity in Language/Cultures etc..and still trying to come together and live under one umbrella only big difference is ..they were on the opposite sides at some point in history in World Wars Great to see them ..put behind all those and come together and live together dwaram terichi uncharu sodarulaki..that might bite back them..in the long run.. but as an economic block..this is a good one | ||

EU parliament .. is the political body governing the entire EU region - setting the principles, rules for the union parliament lo unna politicians are all stalwarts - huge fan of these candidates, their thought process, the moves they make - its 10X GoT kick for me (without the magic) for ex: Merkel, during Brexit negotiations barged into Cameron's ( UK ) meeting room, uninformed, to offer a generous package - the motivations, narrations.. GOT is jujubi annattu.. i watch EU parliament proceedings as well closely.. Yes. They set the direction for EU. All member states are expected to follow. EU Parliament and also European Commission are strong bodies. Pavala is better placed to comment on this though.
