Your analysis is pretty much around Hyderabad....I am talking about Kanpur, Mumbai north, central etc..booths where minorities are dominant saw lesser turnout...analysis should and will be done at booths wise.. Coming to emotion Bihar and eastern up, Rajasthan has better turnout ..even Mumbai has higher turnout than 2014, similar is kannauj,begusarai...way emotion has driven ? What emotion driven Odisha? Hyderabad MP seat lo voting % was always around 50% in any election....but minorities 90% poll chestharu and Hindus less than 30% chestharu..1999 was the only election where the fight was close where BJP with TDP alliance lost with just 5% margin and voter turnout was 69% highest ever recorded. same is the pattern in any minority dominated seat...less voter turn out is disadvantage for BJP in polarized seats......Hindu voter turnout in urban segments was high in 2014 as they all got driven with Modi wave.......now no such emotion.....ground is neutral with equal level playing field.
