My peer, who became my Boss last week, yes, asked me this. But the history of this comes from a few months, and there's plenty happening going forward. My previous Boss, and my new Boss are hell bent on Technology initiating and driving the Decisions, like all of those Tech based Start-ups. I don't see that happening from the Management point of view, like VP and Exec VP etc. Unlike Banks, VP and higher are more in a Media-shop than MD in a Bank. My personal career objective is to move away from hands-on. Vendor ki Project ichhi, Budget ichhi... App maintain cheyandi ani isthey... why I should put my finger in that, other than Code-Reviews? Lethagaa 1 month ye ayyindi appudu FTE join ayyi naaku, I didn't risk it for the same News Channel but Android Mobile App. my second village-idiot moment, existing in-house team effort Android App star ratings improved from 3.2 to 3.7 currently, in about 6 months and 5 iterations / release, nothing fancy, just clean-up and improvements. iOS counter-part app, older version decommissioned and newer Architecture but same look-and-feel like older App has a star-rating at an average and modest 2.7. We have Implementation Partner Vendor for 1 News Channel App, all platforms - Android, iOS, Fire TV, Android TV and TV OS. Other News Channel App is in-house effort. Mostly maintenance.. eppudo 2016 code-base naasi rakam app ni polish chesi basics work cheyisthunnaa... Vendor is using Redux Architecture, I personally like VIPER Architecture, none of the Apps are using VIPER. 16 Local TV Stations, and possibly some more TV Stations like Sports Channel, Entertainment Channel also will all be remodeled / refactored / re-engineered etc etc going forward, when ante no answer. Vendor toh call ayyindi, VIPER yemaina consider chesthaaraa ante, NO ani blatant gaa cheppesaadu... OK, No problem at all ani nenu... naa peer Sr IOS that got promoted to Mobile Lead only Last Week is like, someday, which day we don't know, but we want 1 project code-base all Android Apps working on VIPER, dictate and get it done from the Vendor antaadu... call vinnaavu kadaraa ante, do it yourself annaadu...
