Powerful short film ...kudos to the writer director and the actress ! but this was not the message kada - this was one scenario.. Again, more than women making fuss about it, to me it is like advocating that unfortunate things happen and we should just let them go due to various ‘social’ compulsions ( the way husband lists out the reasons why they should not go to the police) . That is what bothered me pretty much in the film. Afterall, what did the director try to prove? That it is a social stigma? I would have rather appreciated a different ending.May be, this is how I perceived the film and not necessarily every one else thinks the same why I did. only thing i want teens and parents to watch is - not to take anything for granted kids and parents the situation could have been diferent 1. if the kid told her mom where she is heading to 2. Called at least by using one of her friends phone 3. got home earlier instead of partying until 11 4. Dad should have called police instead of forcing his wife to go get her 5. Dad could have looked for his daughter instead of making his wife guilty 6. Dad could have been a bit compassionate about his wife health and condition 7. Mom should have called a friend of hers to join with her 8. i think that is one of the points in the story. She felt guilty that she overslept, and ran to find her child, while his husband also kind of pushed her on her guilt front. They did not try to get any sort of help. Atleast asking a neighbor to come along. They assumed the worst, but took actions based on "hope" of the best case scenario. They did not try to get in touch with any of the other kids. we are all looking at the dark side of the unfortunate event, and I am not saying thats not one the points of the story, but there are other things that are part of the story. The main theme is how unfortunate things happen and go become our past in "silence". How her husband convinced her to remain silent for her sake, for daughter's sake, for family's sake and friend's sake. Every women should watch it, make a big fuss about such things. I know its said easier than done, but we need to "PROTECT" their voice. We will not always be able to "Protect" a women without unfortunate things happen, but lets not silence them under the guise of protection | ||

Direction, performance top notch unnappatiki, I would never recommend this film to anyone, especially to any female.
