Actually, my experience with Muslims so far is awesome. At the common man level, I dont see any difference between Ind-Pak, Hind-muSlim etc. In fact they are very nice people (my personal experience). I had a razor sharp Scala Dev in our team from Pakistan, He is very less spoke, technically razor sharp, very nice/kind fella. Also the same team PM is a Paki woman, nice too, bit Americanized Pakistani.. modern, polite, nice too. So, from the common man perspective, I dont have any differentiation. I say Salam Waliqum when I see them, why not we respect good people. I personally had few neighbors who are muslims, who are very nice too. One of my neighbor aunt, who had two gurl kids, always pampered me with a lot of affection as her son. She used to have glittering eyes when I speak to her. Such an awesome woman. Let politics/countries fight but at our level, lets respect one other. Good luck with your new team.<<<<<<<<<<< at an individual level..hindu enti muslim enti Xian enti atheist enti communist enti brother..it will be all good..oka personal example..6yrs ago india travel appudu emirates lo naa venakala telugufamily batch..naa pakka 2 seatslo paki sindhi muslims-oka peddhavida and vala koothuru.. venaka teluug batch gattiga arupulu, seat daba daba badhatam,flight digetapud andharin tosukuntu povatam mundariki....pakkana Pakistan valu iddharu Bhai saab antu full courteous, chala gauravam ichi matladaru....telugu hindu emiti sindhi muslim emiti..who were the better people there, in that situation? to me it was sindhi muslim.. naaku Minneapolis lo woodbury ane placelo unapudu tamil batch undedhi..entha try chesina okadu kaneesam kalupukuni poyevalu kaadu...vala baavi valadhe...but Marathi muslim vachadu..he became so close....even now,he is in Hartford and invites me to his home whenever I go there.. at an individual level or a level of small group we don't have good religion/bad religion, good race/bad race,good tribe/bad tribe, good caste/bad caste etc....we only have good people bad people anthe..rest all doesn't matter.. but when you talk as a whole community or a very large group, now you are dealing with a different animal..aa grouplo evaridhi control? do sane people have any control there? does their voice get heard? as a community do they gel with others..dynamics completely change here.. islam as an institution, Xianity as an institution different animals.. | ||

I worked with a pak guy too. One of my reports. Decent guy. Gave him a promotion too. Still a friend. Individual level is different from defending the country. I used to wonder if he was nice to me because he reported to me. Since I switched jobs, and we stayed in touch, may be not. | ||
