Let me put it in this way... there is a concept called base voting , which is again divided into core base voting and affiliated + negative voting... Core base voting will never change , it's the standard vote bank that a party starts with... example - e kukka desabhakti kala kukka, bow bow ani kakanda bharat ani arsuthundi ani BJP taraphuna kukka ni nilabedite vote vese Raman lanti vallu base voting lo inko type - affiliated voting , negative voting affiliated voting - usually comes with particular caste groups , or welfare beneficiaries who think that a particular party is good for them, or with the help of a strong local leader who is loyal to the party Negative voting - This is also somewhat loyal voting , which works in favor of a party , these voters think that the mainstream opposition is extremely dangerous so they pick the main opposition after base voting...then comes swing voters...
