iam doing it frm mac

Python.app i dont think is the right exec at all.. anyways, if you dont see any .exe then its permission issue..

stackoverflow also says the same.. permissions change cheyadame..

also, i dont think you can use a Anaconda env like this, standalone exec.. thats one of disadvantages of Anaconda env.. it has its own way of creating the env, maintain versions etc.. and with that, there will be restrictions on how you access the .exe..

Python.app is equivalent to Setup.exe on Windows

Are you sure this is the right Python executable?

Permission issues occur if the files does not have right permissions

Try what j_h suggested

Nanigadulocal:

String command = "/Users/anaconda2/Python.app /Users//Desktop/test.py";
Process p = Runtime.getRuntime().exec(command);

are you sure this is even a python executable ?

/Users/anaconda2/Python.app

it should be python<version>.exe as executable, or you convert a script to standalone executable..

Jambalahaart_raja:

chmod u+x "/Users/anaconda2/Python.app /Users//Desktop/test.py"

Correction -
chmod u+x "/Users/anaconda2/Python.app"
chmod u+x "/Users//Desktop/test.py"

You will need permissions to start both Python.app environment, and test.py executable.

Your JVM Runtime doesn't have sufficient permissions to start a new Process by executing that Python Script.

error=13 is insufficient permissions.

either execute chmod u+x "/Users/anaconda2/Python.app /Users//Desktop/test.py" and if that fails too, see if you can pass Admin Username and Password while executing that Python script.
