The 8 cr includes maintenance. If an individual clinic buys a MRI machine, they pay out of pocket after warranty ends. When a govt. hospital buys it, they get extended warranty and a maintenance contract. Similar to how companies pay a premium for the same printer/photocopy machine that is cheaper on Amazon due to warranty and maintenance contract. | ||

In hospitals ...A.P govt is buying one of the best equipment even the pivate hospitals envy.... but the advanced MRI machine costs 3 cr in market but they are buying it for 8 cr....same way a machine which is 8-9 lks and bought by private hospitals is spnt 35 lks.... fine keine problem....at least people are getting advanced services in hospitals I thought...... but govt didn't appoint radiologist and the MRI machine bought for 8-9 cr is being left idle.... WTF?? this is the position in RIMS... yarlagadda lakshmi prasad cheppinattu-....telugu ante naamoshi for bob laga ...he has inhibition to appoint new govt employees.....
