I dont mind it, in fact it gives us an opportunity to talk about what a great man he was and what his contribution was to the society.. If you dont like it then shut holes... there is no point in saying ~3000 crs can be spent in educating children yes... Even if you stop watching movies and invest all in some form, you can be better in the future; but why do we still spend on entertainment? because, we think it is needed as relief.. BJP felt Patel statue would be a good initiative to remember forgotten freedom fighters... to hell with politics just looked at wikipedia, looks like we expect to spend ~29.2 lakh crore in 2018...so 2900 crores is ~0.1% I think for a government which was elected st such a huge majority, they can afford to spend 0.1% in what they believe would lead to a better society | ||
