also, you are putting 606 MM hard cash yesterday's cash out price is only 858 MM so, the return is only 25% in best case scenario (GROSS) loss could be total loss. and as others said, provided if no one wins. and most importantly do not forget taxes. Even if you want to buy every combination of lottery numbers, logistically you can't. A single lottery location will not have enough paper, ink or time to print out all the numbers. You will have to employ thousands of people and send them to thousands of convenience stores to play all the numbers. You also will have to make sure that, each of the tickets is unique. I didn't do the permutation and combinations, but in the websites, I read that 1 in 302.6 million. If you have 303 million, you can employee people or write software to fill the mega million tickets with all those combinations and buy the mega million with 303 million.
