In US too everything is not green..... Look at General Electric....energy sector health is also not so good.... High oil prices are double edged sword..... In last 2 months all I hear is some bad news in corporate world.... Either failed acquisitions, fallen shares , loss of demand of all companies irrespective of country bias...... Don’t know if it’s always this way....because I started reading financial news pages in last 2 months only....all I see is pessimism.....no optimism anywhere..... If it happens, even India would be hit hard...... All EMs are struggling (turkey to Argentina), US is appearing to be doing good in a macro economic perspective....but still there are signs of recession and slowing down. Bonds are not equivalent......there are various types of bonds Some will be junk bonds of US , which are also in possession of china.

Let me calculate the impact of loss of sales from car makers.... Car making though automised is a labor driven industry..... VW sales down Daimler sales down Jaguar sales down, plant shut down.... So around 100-200k direct jobs are effected.... These job holders have purchasing power more than average individual..... So, purchasing of fmcg also gets effected....which involves another 50-100k jobs.... Commerce and luxury, consumers goods etc also getting effected..... - due to tariffs, china is suffering - china economy issues (slow growth rates) are not just due to these tariffs. it started 10 years ago - so, china was artificially pumping money i to economy in the formmof corporate loans. - these corp loand are almost 29 trillion dollars now - china govt recently relaxed deposits to cash ratio even more that freed up about another 180 billion $$$ all is well so far. china has been looking still stronger or reasonably good. but... there would be a breaking point (expecting it to be soon) when that happens - china potentialy starts selling us bonds to artificially keep their economy look good (please note china holds a lot of US bonds. ) thats when the real fun starts. until then US is rangeli raja. rest of the world emiayina sare, US is in good shape.
