The main issue is not about kev what to do if it does not got through? Now a trend has been set where in any accusation without an evidence will require fbi investigation, delaying of confirmation, it’s easy to extend next ones too. All dem wants is to delay and keep seat open through nov 6. If it happens, they think base will motivate and senate is captured. If captured, trump won’t make another nomination. SC becomes 4-4 at that time, which means appeals Court decision is final. Dems will be happy to keep the seat open. Next year daca and host of other issues are coming for scotus. What if reps keep majority, nothing changes. Question is why do you want to give an opening for opposition | ||

What was the goal of Russian investigation? What did they find with collusion? They charged Flynn, padappolous with process crimes. In a high profile issues like this, ford issue is not main. You will get trapped in some other process crime hence the doubt. Does fbi ask mark judge about the ford issue only? No. Not only criminal, embarrassing stuff might come out causing folks to withdraw. Ford did not provide any evidence. It like I am blaming somebody and want fbi to find details about it. What she and dems are hoping is this would unearth some embarrassing and/or process crimes to derail. It is a trap. We know how much fbi and doj is entrapped with dems leaning officials. I don’t think kav will be confirmed. His chances are 10% only. | ||

His credibility is questioned because a) he for some reason opposed FBI investigation and b) did not offer a lie detector test. If it came this far, he could have gone for at least 1 if not both. FBi investigation means they will grill his friends. It's much different than yeh my friends told I am good. Both Ford and Brett are exposing thier friends to a grilling FBI investigation. | ||

What is mystery for me is: FBI is supposed to be the most powerful and most technologically advnaced inst in the world. If some thing like this had every happened, they would have found it in no time. But the question is what if they don't find? Ford is flatly lying knowing very well that they would never ever will be able to find out the truth. So her lies will go un-detectable and she won't be charged since FBI can't find it out. | ||

No. Ford has been asking for federal investigation for the last 2 weeks atleast. These guys got on board with it because they are presented with only one option. Hopefully he clears his name. 1 week delay is not much to worry about as he will be clearing his name. Dems and backstabbing repub junk made it complicated. Who will it please? Flake or dems. Flake is end of career as senator, wants to land up some gig so wants to build network. Susan and murwoski are not in ballot till 2020 and 2022. They won’t cave or budge. There are 3-4 more reps like that. Ben sass, heller, McCain and corker. Guys I support Kav unquivovally. There is no doubt about his merits. One question really botherhing me. FBI started its work etc. Why can't Kav goes through Lie Detector test himself with some reputed agency that performs these tests? Don't you think it adds impetus to his credibility? Why no body including his distractors talking about this? |
