Wow. As it is. I also manage an excel sheet (Google Sheets now) with all account numbers listed. I review this document with HD every 6 months or so. She knows where all the money and assets are. Doesn't care much for how it is managed. She likes to spend though. Unless and otherwise you guys dont have trust(potential future separation etc), always keep every property in joint, this gives a lot of flexibility of full access in case of unexpected happens. Also in California, this part of property avoids the probation process. All my accounts(including bank, credit card, fixed, vehicles,everything) is joint with my spouse. | ||

For us, bank accounts separate. He pays all mortgages and regular shopping. I take care of monthly bill payments. Although we know each others login credentials, we never bother to check. After all, we are responsible and trust each other. So, no issues. Phones - I know his password but I never shared mine with him WA lo siblings groups, cousins groups untaayi kada... konchem puttinti kaburlu filter cheyaali oko saari, andu kosam never shared my phone passwd... not that he ever cares or he even has time for that The One and Only Veturi | ||

Two accounts but both joint accounts..this is just for safety to reduce risk of online fraud and also for ease of direct deposits, spending from one account and save in other types... No permission asked to take out money but always made sure to let her know while taking a big amount for any purpose...its all treated as family income, no separation like your money or my money... Phone can be opened by both finger prints, also pins, pwds shared for all accounts...nothing to hide.. | ||
