Oh!! forgot to say, my wife drives her father's car VERY easily in India during her short visits. Including long drives. Way back, during my visits, I usually used Bike in India to drive in city without any issue(may be just on the day one bit adjustment) | ||

Will do it from home. I do have REAL copy of the GO :-) I have requested it to be amended to include any expired license while the applicant is outside the country. Hopefully they would include this. If so, I will retain the old Driving license number (I really want to keep my student time driving license record, just if I killed some ant or so, they can get my entire record :-) ) | ||

Take the flip side. Using International Driving permit from India, folks can drive in US for an year or so without local tests. How many accidents that you have seen/heard so far due to this in US? | ||

Just got a Government Order issued by AP Transpiration commissioner easing NRIs to get AP Driving license using their existing overseas driving license without any Learners license, road test etc. I got the actual GO copy, not sure how to share the file here. But I am concerned about renewing an expired AP DL under this GO, emailed for this. I have raised this issue with Transportation Commissioner in 2017, another Guy Ravi has raised it in 2016, eventually it worked. Good news. |
