its like a debit cards, everymonth govt put some money in your account, the amount depends on your annual income and the number of depends in your family, ppl can buy food using that card, usually stores will have a different machine to swipe those cards to pay for the produce they purchase, they cannot buy alchol, cigaretts or electronics or any thing other than food using the ebt/food stamps. they can go to any store what accepts foodstamps. | ||

Idea is good. I don't know why CBN dint get this. This is actually for ration supplies. Present around 35kgs rice being distributed for poor. Centre subsidy around 25 rupees and state subsidy around 5 rupees(not exactly figures) under antyodaya Anna yojana also Annapurna scheme. Like wise different ration supplies are provided . But most of the time worst quality. Export quality ni bayatiki pampestunnaru. Naasi rakam manollaki panchutunnaru. Same with wheat cereals etc. PK decided to give this money directly into the accounts of ladies as gents may misuse this for liquor. Appreciable Ee dabbu tho istamochina quality konukkovachu.
