Prime Minister Modi during his speech in parliament appreciated Telangana government for its focus on development and criticised AP Govt for its failures. I wondered if it was true and did some research and here is what I found : 1. GDP AP is rank 7, Growth 11.2%, per capita Rs.142054/-. Telangana tank 8, Growth 10.4%, per capital Rs.175054/- (After division AP’s per capita became lower due to Hyd and industries going to T and hence SCS was being demanded constantly). 2. Ease of doing business AP is declared no.1 Telangana is declared no.2 3. Corruption: According to CMS India Corruption study 2018, BJP’s new found friends Tamil Nadu is at 1 and Telangana is at no.2 whereas AP is at No.4. https://www.google.co.in/…/tel…/amp_articleshow/64230040.cms 4. Swachh Bharat AP’s three cities Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam and Tirupathi featured in the top 10 clean cities in India while Vijayawada was declared no.1 among its related population wise cities. Telangana’s Greater Hyderabad featured at 22, warangal 28 and Suryapet 30. 5. MOU’s implemented AP is at No.2 in the country whereas T is not in the top 5. Just because a party has fallen out of friendship with you, the state doesn’t become a failure. We are a struggling state trying to find our feet.
