Close to my house, there is an authorized dealership. When I spoke to them, I found that Royal Enfield is pressuring the local motorcycle dealers to be their product dealers (simply begging). My local dealer used to be the RE dealer some time back. Due to the bad business practices of RE and the quality of their bikes for US standards, this dealer dropped of the RE brand. Now RE again gave SO MANY incentives( a large margin of their business) to have the same dealer to accept the RE dealership. When I went to get my Bull servicing, they are looking at this bike and owner like a cheap yeas!! retards.. There is no respect for the RE bikes quality and the business quality (at least my experience so far). | ||

if anyone is drooling for Royal Enfield in US, I dont recommend it beyond your Doola(desire to own it). 1) Riding on freeways over 50 miles is not possible(it rattles over 50 miles). 2) If you are not your own mechanic, it costs more than its purchase price to maintain it in US 3) Accessories are bit expensive or import from India(delays). Other than that, if you want it for casual cruising, it more than just fun. Folks around you drools for its look and thumping. | ||

those are exotics I know a guy in India buys old lamberetta and vespas for Rs 1000.Restores them and make it look as new vehicle and sells to US and European customers for upto $10k (I will try to earch my email and post the link to his site ) | ||
