statement doesn't make sense. We the people embrace Hinduism by following certain practices and beliefs. It doesn't work the other way that Hindus embrace others to make them feel Hindus. That is called CONVERSION in other words. And Hindusim does not believe conversions. Embracing other humans as humans to help to any sort is different thing and it should be seen independently and individually. yes, translated into telugu by K Balagopal.. i didn't find the book as a tool of someone or as a criticism of hinduism at all! it was a well researched, well written account of our history told from the perspective of "cultural continuity" that we see to this day an example theory from the book, which i think made PERFECT sense (which i didn't perceive as a slight on our religion btw) - for any religion to survive long periods of time, it needs some kind of support from the kings....and there were horrible massacres by xtian/tulak kings in the name of religion...however, hinduism used caste system as an excellent tool & benefited the kings coffers by converting aatavikulu into useful work force....and the beauty of this "conversion" was that it was not done by use of force like the other religions but by legitimizing their native local goddesses/animal gods and assigning them a place in hinduism by making them wives / vehicles of male hindu gods....that is why to this day we see a bunch of "village goddesses" (like mankalammathalli, peddintlammathalli, mavullammathalli etc) that are seemingly disjointed from the mainstream hindu gods like vishnu etc.. so anyway, caste system was an excellent way back then to make people productive..this caste system is no longer beneficial to the religion and to the treasury so we need to update the religion to dismantle castes.....which i think is happening by virtue of democratic govts etc.. so in this process of upgrading ourselves, we will definitely come across these mahesh kathis (whose ancestors would've suffered generations of discrimination)..best thing to do is ignore them | ||

It won't, unless people are interested to learn and practice our cultute on daily basis. I will give a small example. I, and I am sure many of us have see this too. We have so many Indians and NRI population who are in to book reading, announcing that I have so many English books, quoting authors and discussing their works in our regular conversations, but are very reluctant to read Telugu and Sanskrit books. It's a small thing and reading other language books is not wrong. But when you don't know your culture you can't practice it and you can't defend it. Indians who read greatest books ilke Bhagavadgita could be less than 5% of total. We are so much westernised that even panchakattu is silly to many younger generations. Simple things but in accumulation make a huge difference to our culture. Most of us are so busy in our 9-5 jobs and weekend relaxations that we don't think about our culture. We have to see these kind on comments on Hindu culture both externally and internally as a part of bigger conspiracy picture. Individually we all have friends who are aethists from all cross sections of population. But the current trend is just aethism but an innate hatred towards Hindusim. When you do a mapping of these individuals who have Hindusim then there will emerge a pattern where these things are linked to communnism or dalitism or converted (from Hindu) communities. It's unproven, but is very clearly a sponsored program. It's a stepwise multi level phased plan. Even if you see European and American educational system Egyptian culture is given more focus than equally good (if not a better) culture like Hindusim. Even from schooling days they try to incorporate Egyptian learning and ignore Hindu culture and civilization. Could it be a part of conspiracy no one would know. Breaking India is a big thing. On the reason why Rama asked Sita to do Agni pareeksha is for the people not for himself.. Sita requests Rama to take her to the ashram’s when she is pregnant.. when Rama hears that people are abusing Sita, he takes the decision to go to forest along with Sita to stay away from kingly duties.. If he continues to be a king he had to let Sita go away because she will be more hurt hearing people talk bad about Rama because of her.. Lava Kusa movie is almost right except for the later part where lava Kusha capturing the horse etc.. that was adapted from Padma Purana as per samaveda shanmuka sharma garu.. After Sita leaves the kingdom there is drought or some bad things and people realize their mistake..To overcome the drought Rama performs yagna along with golden Sita and that is where lava kusa come and sing Ramayana and in the process of finding their mother they come to know that it is Sita and Sita devi ends her avatar and goes inside the earth.. As far as vaali is concerned vaali himself asks the question to Rama as to why he killed him in adharmic way.. Rama tells him that as per dharma animals can be hunted from behind and vaali himself accepted it.. Vaali also tells Rama that he would have defeated Ravana single handedly to which Rama tells that since he does not need help of person who does not follow dharma(forcefully grabs the kingdom and wife of sugreeva)..There are two people who defeat Ravana and Ravana makes friendship with both of them.. One of them is Vaali and the other is kaartaveryarjuna who not only defeats him but also puts him in jail.. | ||
