The list goes on and on... I think USA needs to do something about this

USA certainly need to do something and that certainly is not trade tariffs. Do you expect worlds biggest economy not to have current account deficit. On top of it, this is the reserve currency of the world!!!

Trade deficit is not indicative of trade health. uSA has capital account surplus. This Is going to hurt entire world. Keep watching !!!

USA uses trade as leverage . Anyone the falls for trump propaganda of Us being taken advantage of , need to spend more time learning what uS is taking out of these trades!!

Finally, any attempt to cut deficit without addressing federal deficit will only increase the deficit further.

everytime you watch bigboss show who do you think is making money ?

i can go on and on and on bro . i think India has the right to retaliate with its own tariffs

https://www.reddit.com/r/Ask_Politics/comments/7uztog/what_h as_trump_accomplished_in_a_year/
What has Trump accomplished in a year?

Numbers of illegal migrants are down, ICE raids are up by 40% nationwide as ones currently in the country are rounded up
** The counter to this is that most of those arrested haven't yet been deported, and the usual economic arguments for easing migration anyway

Stock market has been buoyant. Only two presidents have overseen such a large growth over the same period - FDR and Coolidge.
** Counterargument: percentage growth coming out of a recession is naturally going to be higher than average, and a lot of the work was done under Obama

Oil prices are steady and low
** This is more 'fail to up' than an achievement

American interventions in Iraq undoutedly hastened the demise of ISIS
** This is a solid achievement. It was on its way out regardless, but faster is better

American intervention in Afghanistan has increased, counteracting Taliban resurgence.
** Many just want to pull out of Afghanistan altogether and leave the country to become what it will become.

Pushed for greater NATO funding, prompting a $12b increase from European allies
** In large part because of uncertainty over American willingness to commit and increasing belligerence from Russians, rather than good negotiations on Trumps part

Has steadily installed a new generation of conservative-minded judges at every level up to and including the Supreme Court.
**Obviously only good if you agree with that agenda.

GDP growth targets of 4% weren't met, but the 3% of the past two quarters is still respectable
** Again, borrowing from Obama's legacy

Unemployment is steady and low - the U.S. is essentially at 'full employment' right now.
** Nothing bad to say here. It's keeping steady and that's a good thing.

TPP was canceled
** Despite some troubling provisions, TPP would have been a good thing for maintaining American hegemony over SE Asia, and China is likely to step into the gap.

ACA is defanged
** With nothing in place to replace it

Withdrew from the Paris Climate Accord, which many conservatives complained saw the U.S. subsidising a lot of other countries
** Someone has to pay for environmental protections, and there's a moral argument for it to be those who have most benefited from polluting to this point, rather than those trying to get into the game

Relations with Russia are more positive than they have been for a long time

The intervention in Syria did not lead to further escalation as feared, and no further chemical attacks have been carried out.

Trump is here to stay another term very easily.
"Chill Bro.
I told you to let it go!!"

Will Give an example Cars... All international cars can be sold in usa (passing all regulations) but to sell a car in India/China/Japan etc the duty is 150%
Jeep Cherokee costs 35 lacs in India why?
Similarly All Apple products are expensive in India?korea why? whereas samsung products are fair Priced in USA.
The list goes on and on... I think USA needs to do something about this

trade deficit on certain goods is common theme but u cannot just go and

put tariffs like this and it effects US farmers and consumers more than

guys sitting in white house and we can certainly dig deep and find out

for each goods how much tax etc but trade wars are bad for everyone and

in a week or so u will see they will stop it, it is a ploy by dump team

to show that we are hardcore on other countries and u know mid term is

around the corner all about voters

India is moving forward with plans to hit back at the United States over trade.

The country has proposed hiking tariffs on 30 US products in order to recoup trade penalties worth $241 million, according to a revised World Trade Organization filing.
