problem entante NRIs eligible aina vetiki adhar mandatory kaadu. kaani manollu avi follow avvaru. like owning agricultural land, owning bank account in india, contributing to ppf konnitiki nris ki mandatory kaadu but officials dont know how to do it. Like house ot property registrations. If you present your passport along with the stamp that you were out side the country at least for 182 days in the past financial year, they should not ask for your adhar. | ||

Official rule is different. But only few people working in govt follow it. Official rule is below: If a Non-Resident Indian (NRI) has stayed in India for 182 days or more, in the 12 months right before the date of application, then that NRI is eligible to apply for a Aadhaar card | ||

If you are not a citizen of any other country(than India) and you are present in India, you are technically not an NRI since you are residing at that time. So, you have to be an Indian citizen(or OCI holder) and apply while you are physically present in India at the time of application. You need all local reference(address, birth certificate, passport copy etc) While I was in India for few months visit in the past, I have applied, got it and used anywhere I had Indian (financial, property etc) references requires aadhar. | ||

They can do anything if they decide, thats the problem.. Aadhar card mandatory chesinappudu for every transaction, NRI's should be within that cover..
