From the sound of it, if you have data in Excel format, you can simply do Pivot charts. Otherwise you would need to use some form of Statistical Analysis software to analyse the data. Minitab is another option. As driver said, how your data is being stored will dictate your approach. |

For example I have data of 1000 Us cities 1)birth in a city daily 2)deaths in the city daily 3) number if people coming to city daily 4) Buber if people leaving city daily 5) number if tourists coming to city daily Now what I want to do is calculate the trend overall yearly, monthly and past 10 years overall And tabulate change in trend monthly yearly for each city.... Agree slope of trend line gives the change in trend monthly yearly etc.... But I need the trend for each city and of all variables. But how to batch process this data ....I don’t want to do it individually for each of city calculate slope and note value for each of above mentioned variables Is there a way for this??? missiles love.
