KA is very tough to predict.....This is one state where every party has a core vote bank. Cong. advantage is a positive perception on Siddaramiah among the local people. BJP is pouring money to buy Congress workers at the booth level.So much so that even people like Raghuveera Reddy are meeting the booth level workers in villages personally. And JDS is in a do or die battle - their aim is to get 35-40 seats so that they can become the king maker. | ||

Watch the local channels for the real pulse of the people there. The national channels are desperately trying to convert this into a Modi vs Rahul fight. There is near unanimity that the Government in the last 5 years is OK - Good. And for the 1st time COngress is responding to the Pakistan, Jinnah, Beef bla blah rantings of Modi. All this while they are not losing focus on issues like local governnance schemes and countering BJP with corruption, petrol Prices, Gas prices. In 2013 and 14, Bangalore city was the strongest region for BJP. Now as per the exit polls, Congress is expected to do well in Bangalore city.
