Connecting flight also same terminal C. Am flying DEL to EWR. I am on Coach as this is a family trip. Vaadu evening flight ichchina i could not care less, NJ lo kilola koddi untaru relatives. I also checked on alternate flights, almost every one or two hours flights unnayi. | ||

I fly in/out of Newark every week... Newark is a hub for united... they use terminals C and A... You will mostly land in terminal C.. if your connecting flight is also in terminal C you still have to clear immigration and customs... Terminal C is not that big but still 100+ gates untayi... so it also depends on which gate your connecting flight is... if its a different terminal all together then piccha lite.. njoy ur time in airport... Also unless you are flying first class/business class.. u will need at least 20 mins to get out of the flight after it lands... (direct flight from Delhi aithe mostly 777-200 untadi) so your are left with 1 hr 10 mins from the time you get out of the flight to catch the next flight... same terminal aina i really doubt you can clear customs and immigration in 1hr...
If you miss the flight United will provide an alternate flight... BUT BUT BUT u have to sit airport depending on the availability... over night wait aina kuda vaadu hotel istaadu anna guarantee ledu.. So what you can do is just to be prepared go to united.com and see when is the next flight just in case you miss the connecting flight.. just to get an idea... | ||

Pretty much. Immigration check nunchi only option will be to get to baggage claim and then to transfer terminals. Not sure how far it is in Newark. I second this. EWR airport bakwaas speed with Customs and Security Check, Mumbai and Delhi airports kante bewarse. Smoke-break ani, coffee-break ani, woh mera kaam nahin hai bhaiyya type attitude, sucks big-time. 1 hr 15 mins transit time, bahut ante bahut kasht hai. Time lopala ayipothey mee luck, otherwise, min 2 hr transit-break pettukunte meeke manchidi. Don't trust United either. Last 12 months lo every time some or the other flight delay problems.
