It is better for AP if film industry do not move to AP...AP should be base of Knowledge based industries and innovation...if required all the digital part of films like animation, graphics and digital content creation should come to AP but not the entire production...IMHO ppl in AP deserve better.... âOnly sheep need a shepherdâ | ||

I think film industry generates most of the revenue from ticket sales (and these taxes are paid locally) The total cost of the films produced every year is not more than Rs.2000 crores.These are production costs and not revenue or income to govt... and 80% of it is paid to technicians/artistes/workers from AP Any medium size IT/Pharma company has more revenues than entire TFI FYI: Dr.Reddy annual revenue Rs32,000 crores Hetero Drugs Rs.17000 crores Infotech Enterprises-Rs 3700 crores Heritage: Rs.2000 crores Aurobindo Pharma: Rs.19000 crores If govt wants revenue ,it can give incentives and lure big fishes which can have 100x revenue than TFI Amen ! | ||

Whenever any problem comes, they go to T Ministers. This is a shame to Andhra people. If it was NTR, he would have atleast initiated the process of Telugu Film industry moving to Andhra region.
