Aussies were always crooks, bullies and opportunistic. They are aggressive and nasty. Yes their cricket skills are great but their attitude is nasty. Manny in the media world gave positive spin to it that they play positive brand of cricket blah blah. The issues I have with Sangakkara are related to the sportsmaship . I lost track but there were plenty. Most recent one's i remember 1) Sehwag was 99, and India needed one run to win, he asked the bowler Suraj Randiv to bowl a no-ball, Sehwag hit a six, but it was not counted, as team already won with the no ball 2) the toss fiasco in world cup final. it was pretty evident that Sangakkara made the call, and when he realized Dhoni did not hear what he called, he played ignorant was ok with the re-toss, when he knew he lost the toss. there are many instances, when he would use delay tactics to disrupt player concentration, apart from his sledging. he would see the batsmen getting ready for the play, then he suddenly calls the bowler and has a chat with him, just to break the concentration. | ||

there is nothing to not admit guilt here. they got caught with their pants down. honesty ended the moment they decided to try whatever they decided. Aussies had similar allegtions prior and they behaved like any other india player that were alleged. this time, they just did not have a way out. | ||

I admire all most cricket players... and i love a few them more. but there are three guys i can never seem to like, they are just pure classless in their attitude and never feel like a worthy sportsmen. 1) Steve Smith 2) Mushfiqur Rahim 3) Kumar Sangakkara they play dirty and they get ugly. Anyway, Cricket has seen its vilians, and unfortunately and more often that not, there have heroes who turned fallens.. fallen angels. Azhar, whose name, even today gives me an unknown happiness, and leaves with me with some guilt and disappointment. Hansie Cronje - an unbelievable ending to what could have possibly one of the greatest captaincy career, and pure lack of understanding of the amount of love and respect he received from folks all around the world and not just their country men. He came across as a psychopath who never truly understand what he means to others. But with Steve Smith, atleast for me, there is no love lost, although i do feel for the state he is in today, I really believed that he is capable of such indecency. No Surprise to me. As little confession, If I wished it were to be someone else, I would have wished it was Sangakarra |
