Jeff Bezos and his S team  Earnings per share (EPS) came in at $3.75 on revenue of $60.45 billion. Analysts were expecting Amazon EPS of $1.85 and revenue of $59.83 billion. Even if you subtract a benefit of $789 million related to the new tax cut law, Q4 EPS clocked in around $2.15, easily surpassing estimates. To see revenue growth of this magnitude – the AMZN top-line grew 38 percent year-over-year – for a company doing $60 billion in a quarter is virtually unheard of. Meteoric growth in Amazon Web Services (AWS) continues to be a major tailwind for shares, with AWS revenue rising 44 percent in the fourth quarter to $5.1 billion.
