Cop didn't chase me to stop at the gas station. After i come out of the gas station..he stopped me saying that i avoided the light and came out without even stopping in the gas station. He said it would have been OK if i stopped to go inside or fill the gas. I told him that i stopped for a bit and then later changed my mind to fill the gas at a later point. I am not quite aware of this. BTW, Happydays: there is a good possibility of video evidence in the gas station. Why dont you request that gas station and review the video, if you can prove that Cop is chasing you to stop the car in the gas station? | ||

Yes. But it looks like you may get some points. Is it in Harris county? If Harris, process of contesting is long. 1. You have to call the court clerk, and ask for trial. 2. They will set a date for you to talk to ADA 3. ADA will offer defensive driving class. You still have to pay some $90 for court processing fee. 4. Take the class 5. Submit class completion certificate along with your driving record. 6. Then they will dismiss your ticket. It can take up to 6 months to complete this process. | ||
